SYNOPSIS
The oddest of friends...Mamoru is a book smart nerd and Koga is a street smart jock. Mamoru finds out that Koga is in trouble and will do everything in his power to save his best friend. The boys must make a decision - to stay back, be brave and deal with the problem or just run away. They choose the latter.
They hatch a plan to disappear into the wilderness, to live and hunt off the land and become adults, but it's not as easy as they think. While up in the mountains and struggling to survive, they have non-stop adventures and troubles that they must overcome before they make it back down the mountains. At the risk of immense perils, the boys embark on an adventure and experience a summer they’ll never forget.

I have always wanted to make a coming of age movie where the main characters would go on an adventure to learn a life-changing lesson.
I grew up in the 1980s and we had quite a few movies that told those kind of stories and they always got my attention. I really enjoyed those films and as I got older I realized that those movies also taught me many valuable life lessons, as well.
JINN YAGI
I went to the set every day giving advice as a photographer, assisting with lighting and doing my best to ensure everything went smoothly. Among the myriad of things I learned included budgeting, promotion, casting, artistic choices and how to measure progress.
I'm proud that we managed to finish shooting and have arrived at this point. I think this movie can be enjoyed from various perspectives, such as reflecting on one's youth and also from a parent's point of view. I hope everyone will enjoy this movie about Wild Boys.
